Wm.S.Haynes Silver C Piccolo Serial # 222xx (c. 1952). Fully overhauled with Pisoni Lucien Deluxe pads by Brian Bertrem. Conical bore A=440. New Corks and felts. White gold springs. Minor scratches typical of an instrument of this era. No dings or dents. Once again plays like the day it was made in the Boston shop. Classic Haynes sound from low to high. The Haynes silver piccolo provides the most projection of any piccolo without sounding shrill. Perfect for both indoor concert and outdoor stadium work. It has only been play tested since overhaul.
