Wm S Haynes Grenadilla wood Db Piccolo Open G# Reverse B/Bb - Fully overhauled

Description

Serial number appears to be 166xx which makes it one of the last Grenadilla wood Db piccolos made (c.1940) just before the US entered WWII.  Fully overhauled by Brian Bertrem so it plays as it did when it originally left the Boston Mass workshop.  Pisoni Lucien Deluxe pads.  Plays a great high E natural with the open G# system which may not be original due to presence of the lower traditional G# hole.  Reverse B/Bb thumb also.  Gold springs.  One year warranty on mechanism and labor.  New Northwind/Haynes hard case.  New Cavallaro padded case cover.  Metal cleaning rod.   eBay tryout period (buyer pays shipping/insurance and non refundable 3% eBay fee.)  As this instrument contains Grenadilla wood (endangered species) eBay will not allow shipment outside of US.
