From my youth growing up on the island of Martha's Vineyard during the Jaws film years, I offer you my Piccolo. Used once on stage for a first cheer solo and appeared full play in every marching band parade through downtown Edgartown in the 70’s and 80’s. The instruments is a Piccolo Yamaha YPC. Measuring 12 1/2” fully assembled. This Flute is from the 1970’s. The flute is in Excellent condition with some minor fading to its Yamaha emblem. A Martha’s Vineyard memory treasure.
My Story.
When is was two I was packed up in my moms 64 VW bug bound for the island of Martha's Vineyard from a famous dynasty family who wanted to keep me a secret from the world. Life on the island was a bohemian hideout back in those days. My friends and I did well getting cast in the first Jaws movie. I blended in well with the ranks of the Kennedy's. If you are to shy to speak, sit next to me, because I, too, have a story to tell that the world will want to hear. True Story! During my years on the island I used this piccolo.
