Iplehouse Shane Realskin 1/3 BJD boy male rare doll w/box. Condition is "Used".
Shane comes with his certificate of authenticity. He is in really good shape. He has served me well, but I am reducing my collection. During his time on display, the majority of his body was covered. Face and hands were exposed. Faceup is still in fine shape, though it is at least 5 years old and may need to be redone. Please review pictures for possible aging of the coloration. He looks great to me, but I suspect the resin has aged from his original shade. I have thoroughly cleaned and inspected him. He did have hot glue sueding and I removed it, but traces may remain. He has the upgrade mobility joint, which is kind of a pain in the butt more than it’s helpful, but it does give him greater posability. Note that when lifted, the mobility joint opens when the weight of the legs pulls on it. This is not a flaw but due to that mobility part. The only true flaw is that his elbow was bent the wrong way, and thus it snapped on the inner side of the shoulder joint. I have shown clear pictures. The break was clean and I glued it back together. I cannot guarantee that it wouldn’t break again in the same spot, but if you don’t twist the elbow, it should be ok.
The magnets on his headcap are not the strongest. I always just put tape to secure it, but if you think it would bother you, this may not be the doll for you.
He is used, kindly, but used, so small scratches and such may be present. I took clear, huge pictures for your review. He comes with his original box as well.
If you don’t want the box, I could reduce shipping costs by shipping the doll unstrung. You, obviously, need to know about stringing in order for me to do that.
