his listing is for a lot of three woodwind instruments (2 piccolos, and 1 flute) for repair/restoration or parts. These instruments are in generally good physical condition, but will need new pads, corks, cleaning, etc. Please see below for the specifics of each instrument.
Getzen key of "C" piccolo - Serial #3863, and marked "C". This instrument is in very good physical condition. There are no dents, dings, or other damage, and the tenon of the headjoint is perfectly round. The plating (nickel?) is in good condition. The pads are worn though, so they will need to be replaced. The case is in overall good condition. It does have an ID number written on it.
C.G. Conn Ltd. key of "Db" piccolo - Marked "44-P-287031-D-L". This instrument is in overall good physical condition. There is some dinging to the outer edge of the lip plate (see pics), and one tiny ping on the headjoint. Also, there is an ID number etched on the headjoint. There are no other dents, dings, or other damage. The plating (nickel?) is in good condition, but tarnished. The pads are worn though, so they will need to be replaced. The case is in poor condition. It would need to be replaced.
Flute - Branded "The Dixie Music House Chicago". I'm told it is a stencil made by Bettoney. Serial #2197. This instrument is in very good physical condition. There are no dents, dings, or other damage, and the tenon of the headjoint is perfectly round. The plating (nickel?) is quite tarnished. The pads are worn, so they will need to be replaced. The case is in fair condition, but heavily worn.
The listing price includes all three instruments.
Please feel free to email me with any questions.
Thanks again for looking!
Note to international buyers:
Due to the current global pandemic, international shipments via USPS mail are experiencing significant delays. This is due to lack of available transportation (ie. mail is normally carried overseas as cargo on commercial passenger flights, however the flight schedules have been slashed). European buyers have experienced wait times of up to 2 months for shipments to arrive. If this potential wait presents a problem for you, please refrain from purchasing at this time. I sincerely apologize for this, unfortunately unavoidable, inconvenience.
