Please refer to my very clear photos to study details, and relative size in my hand.<br>The very thick solid solid brass metal Gorget is intended to be worn hung via a black ribbon from the upper middle neck to protect throat from injury during battle, at Dress appointments, it may be worn dropped position and relaxed in signal a command important Officer is in the room.<br>It has a beaded all around edge rim, curved like a half moon, and has very shiny polished patina. This is a NEW never used item. There are twin holes for you to thread your own ribbon or cord through so you can wear it over your ruffled shirt.
